With more than six years of professional wedding photography experience, and well over a quarter million special moments captured, I have photographed more than 150 weddings, and that number keeps on growing!

Whether it be for a wedding, special event, headshots session, or other creative portrait session, capturing natural, fun, artistic photographs of people is my specialty. I love to meet new people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds, and I love to photograph them. Even though I enjoy still life, architecture, and the great, wide, beautiful outdoors, if there is not a face exuding with all of the wonderful things that makes each person who he or she is, I have little interest in picking up my camera.

Philosophy and Approach:
Like most people, I get very bored of the old, traditional photographs, which portray people standing stiffly and grinning awkwardly. No matter what the photographic situation, my primary objective is to help people feel relaxed, and free to be themselves in front of my lens. I especially enjoy the challenge of capturing beautiful, natural looking photographs of people who tend towards being particularly camera shy. If I had to classify my style, I would say it is photojournalistic and artistic, with some traditional formals mixed in, however, I always pose shots to look as candid and natural as possible.

For weddings and special events, I am especially concerned with helping you to enjoy your day, as well as remember it. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible while still capturing the moments that matter. Additionally, I make sure to learn what your desires are, in advance, so that I can optimize my ability to take the kinds of pictures you want to see.

A few things that set me apart from other Orlando photographers are that I never limit the amount of pictures I take during a portrait session or on the day of the wedding, and I believe everyone should have the rights to do as they wish with their own photographs. For this reason, each package I offer includes the true high-resolution digital negatives of all photographs taken, with the copyrights released to you.

Why you should hire me to be your photographer:
Well, I am not gonna lie, there are quite a number of excellent wedding photographers available today here in Orlando, Florida, and I know it has to be a difficult decision to select the right one. What sets me apart from the crowd is a combination of things—my personality, my approach, my excellent sense of professionalism, and my high level of experience and expertise, coupled with my awesome packages and reasonable prices.

I am an extremely genuine, caring individual who also happens to be very strong, fun and creative. I consider myself to have very good interpersonal communication skills, and I find it comes naturally to me to be very considerate and sensitive to the people around me and to the situation at hand. As you may imagine, sometimes emotions run wild on the day of the wedding, and I have helped to calm the nerves of many brides on many different occasions.

In any setting, my photography approach is always to capture natural, fun, artistic photographs of people. I love to photojournalistically capture things as they are happening, and whenever I pose photographs, I always pose for natural, artistic, vibrant images capturing the true personalities of the people I am working with. Also, as I am young, healthy, and physically fit, I have no problem keeping on my toes so that nothing important is missed.

I am well spoken, courteous, and kind, and in addition to always making it my goal to help people feel comfortable and free to be themselves in front of my camera, I am a natural born leader, and I have no problem, whatsoever, respectfully taking control of any situation and directing people during picture time. Customer service and satisfaction is of utmost importance to me, and I often find myself, literally, and figuratively bending over backwards to serve my brides and grooms. 

I have learned photography techniques from some of the best artists in the industry, and as I have captured nearly half a million moments in time, myself, over the past six years, I have had much time and experience to practice and perfect my own technique. I am not finished learning, however, as I am always looking for new and exciting ways to improve my photography skills, as well as better my offerings to clients.

I have had the pleasure of photographing people from a wide variety of different cultural, national, religious, and social backgrounds--including American, Caribbean, European, Asian, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, non-religious, business men and women, construction workers, doctors, judges, lawyers, stay-at-home parents, students, high ranking military officers, diplomats, musicians, actors, and famous sports players.    

While I am not the cheapest photographer out there, I definitely aim to price my packages so that real people can afford me. My packages are all great, and I am proud to say that each package includes things like unlimited photographs taken, and the true high-resolution digital negatives of all wedding day photographs taken on disc with copyrights released to you. This means that you have the rights to do as you wish with your own wedding memories!

On many occasions, I have had wedding couples, their family, and their guests exclaim that they have never seen a more professional, skilled, creative, effervescent, energetic wedding photographer than me. By the end of an event, I often find I have made new friends.

But, Who am I Really?
Well, I truly am an artist to the core. I am a poet, a writer, and a classically trained singer/songwriter, as well as a photographer—I am a lover of beauty, and I find beauty in everything—even in the shadows that life, inevitably, brings. I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a wife. I am passionate, strong, genuine and caring, and I love to laugh and cry. I hope. I dream.

A Few of My Favorite Things:
I love things like hiking in the mountains, playing in the snow, running through open fields, floating on my back in a clear, blue ocean, walking a lonely beach in thick fog, the sound of fog horns in the distance, devouring a delicious meal when I'm hungry, gulping water when I'm thirsty, savoring chocolate, practicing yoga, dancing—especially the Latin way, getting lost in a good book, traveling—by plane, boat, or car, loud music when its good, silence when I'm exhausted, the sound of crickets and the smell of fresh herbs at night in the countryside, a hot cup of tea, thunderstorms—when I can enjoy the couch with a warm blanket, watching the sun rise, the moon at night in winter when there is snow on the ground, being completely engrossed in a good movie, writing a beautiful line of poetry, singing a beautiful song, laughing, crying, and daydreams. Oh yeah, and audio books :)
